Know your pet's mood
Pet Detective reads your dog or cat's mood through your phone's camera and tells you in kind, honest words. When it can't tell, it says so.

Sunny reads happy
Pick what the camera sees. Pet Detective only scores a pet it can really read. Everything else gets an honest answer.
What a happy pup!
That loose mouth with the tongue out is a classic relaxed, happy look. Out on the grass, too.
Fun words, based on the real mood we read.

What it does
Scan a mood
, talk back in puppy barks
, play real animal sounds
and keep a mood diary
.
- Mood Scan
- Point the camera at your dog or cat and tap Scan. You get a Happy Score of Good, Better or Best, and what it really saw: "tongue out and relaxed", "out on the grass". A happy purr counts too.
- Talk to your pet
- Record yourself and hear it back in puppy talk (higher, happy tones) or calm talk (slower and warmer, for a worried pet). The Puppy Translator turns your words into real puppy barks that follow your voice. Just for fun.
- Listen
- Pet Detective listens to barks, meows, growls and purrs and tells you what it heard, with the science behind it.
- Sound Board
- Real recorded dog, cat, rabbit and bat sounds behind big buttons. Tap one and watch those ears.
- My Pet
- Your pet's own page: a mood diary with a weekly chart, care reminders and health notes.
- Toy Clinic and Dog Park
- Kids can play vet with their teddy bears and print a Healthy Toy award. At the Dog Park, snap a photo a day for a star.
Not feeling well? The clinic is open
Janette checks you in
She asks the most important safety questions first. Then Nurse Tina takes a look at your pet with you.
Dr. Brett tells you how soon
Watch at home, call soon, today, or right away. You get a Vet Visit Report to share with your vet, a button to find a vet near you, and a gentle check-in later.
Pet Detective is not a vet and does not diagnose. It helps you decide how soon to see one. Rabbits and bats get their own short safety check.

Questions
Is it really reading my pet?
Yes. Its eye runs on your phone and looks at your pet's face and body: eyes, ears, mouth and posture. It listens for purrs and barks at the same time. If it can't read your pet clearly, it says "Need a clearer look" instead of guessing.
Does it work with cats?
Yes, dogs and cats. Rabbits and bats are welcome too: they have their own sounds on the Sound Board and their own short safety check in the clinic.
Is the Puppy Translator real?
It's for fun, and the app says so. It plays your words back as real puppy barks that follow the rhythm of your voice. The mood scan is the serious part.
Is Pet Detective a vet?
No. It doesn't diagnose. The clinic asks the important safety questions and helps you decide how soon to see your vet, and gives you a Vet Visit Report to bring along.
Does anything leave my phone?
Your photos, recordings and notes stay on your phone. Only what you choose to share leaves it. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Do I need the internet?
No. The mood eye and the ears work offline. When you're online, the trainer's voice can sound a little nicer.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Pet Detective is for Android phones first.
Is it for kids?
It's made for pet owners and fun for the whole family. The Toy Clinic lets kids play vet with their stuffed animals, and it's always happy, never scary.
